Flight Approval for Security Clearance required to enter Military Aerodromes in Indonesia. Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara (Directorate General of Civil Aviation / DGCA) was announced this twice, at 2001 (letter number AU/2924/DAU-815/2001) and 2004  (letter number 1236/DAU/DIR/XI/2004).

The rules applied for:

• Non-scheduled and non-commercial flight operators:
  1. Passenger and Cargo flight using aircraft with capacity seats 30 or more.
  2. Foreign flight for Passenger and Cargo
• Scheduled and commercial flight operators:
  1. Flights which are not in regular schedule
  2. Addition for flight frequency or route of previously stated
  3. Changes of aircraft capacity seats, decrease or increase to 50% or more.
• Air survey / photogrametry (excluded in letter announced at 2001, but included in 2004)
